After the lecture on Irish writers and a visit to Coole Park, it was only fitting that we had an "assignment" to write a poem, limerick or such reflecting our experiences on the trip....here are a few clips

My name is Michele Laffert, a 1989 graduate of Western New England College. Guests on this trip, from September 25 to October 3, 2008, stayed in the Old Ground Hotel in Ennis, the capital of County Clare. Other alumni on this journey were: Catherine LaFortune ’89/G’98, Christine Pollender ’99, Martin Schoenemann ’74, and Sharon Tortola ’00. Our visit took us to such places as Bunratty Castle, the Burren, the beautiful Cliffs of Moher, and the Aran Islands. Read on!
